Chris Jordan, a Seattle artists has spent the last several years creating huge works of art depicting statistics like Americans use 410,000 disposal hot-beverage paper cups every fifteen minutes, and in the US alone, 426,000 cell phones are retired every day.

We hear numbers like this everyday, but Chris Jordan’s art allows you to see what these numbers mean in a form we can actually grasp. His pictures are intimidating and arresting and put these figures right in our faces.
