I remember Simple shoes starting out when I was a skateboarding middle schooler. Their shoes were, as their name suggests, simple and comfortable. When I wasn’t wearing skateboard shoes like DC and Osiris, I was wearing Simples.

It seems like the company has grown up now and encountering new growth and renewed interest in their company and they’ve just launched two new lines of eco-friendly and green shoes, ecoSNEAKS™ and Green Toe™. Simple shoes is committed to making their products 100% sustainable and with ecoSNEAKS™ they’ve created products like the Sno Tire made with recycled car tires and the ecoS made with recycled bike tires.

All of their shoes use recycled and sustainable materials like organic canvas uppers, washed leather, organic cotton linings, PET laces, PET pedbeds and all the rubber is reclaimed from tires. Even their packaging is made from 10% post consumer paper and printed with soy-based inks. The packaging is incredibly simple, pun intended, and they don’t use any plastics or excess paper whatsoever.
