Mom, Ava and her USC business student son, Anthony, both athletes, wanted to find energy bars that weren’t too sweet, loaded with protein and carbs, but without the milk products that Anthony was allergic to, but couldn’t find what they wanted out of the numerous other products on the market. They were so fed up they decided to make their own made with the exact ingredients they wanted without corn syrup or preservatives. Their bars were such a hit with their friends and family they decided to start You Bar, the custom, nutritional, (not to mention natural!) energy bar.

With ingredients like almond butter, peanut butter, just about any kind of nut butter, dried fruits, clover honey, coffee crystals, granola, and protein powders, customers can customize their bars to their exact tastes. There is even a nutrition info panel on the site that can approximate the calories, fat, protein, carbs, you name it.
